Salisbury had already won 18 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.3 points) and they went ahead and made it 19 on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Queen City Prep Kings 83-42. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while the Kings are ranked 273rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Salisbury's win was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.7 points over those games. As for Queen City Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
