It was a good run, but Canyon Lake unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Harlan Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Canyon Lake of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Canyon Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Harlan, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Canyon Lake will be taking part in a tournament against LEE at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harlan, they will square off against Brennan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Hawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
