Softball Recap: Toms River South Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Toms River South was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against the Jackson Memorial Jaguars, falling 13-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Toms River South's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Jackson Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Toms River South will head out to challenge Brick Memorial at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson Memorial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Barnegat at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
