Basketball Game Preview: West Davidson Dragons vs. North Rowan Cavaliers

West Davidson hasn't had much luck against North Rowan recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The West Davidson Dragons will head out to square off against the North Rowan Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m.

On Friday, West Davidson lost to Lexington at home by a 60-46 margin. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 85th).

Meanwhile, North Rowan came into Friday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They strolled past Carson with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 43-27.

West Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for North Rowan, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.

West Davidson suffered a grim 77-55 defeat to North Rowan when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can West Davidson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
