Football Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Franklin extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 2-4. They were outmatched by the Chavez Titans and fell 61-0. The Yellowjackets lost against the Titans in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 38-7 score last time.

As for Chavez, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Chavez got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Elijah Walker out in front who threw for 293 yards and five TDs while completing 73.9% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Walker a new career-high in rushing yards (29). Another back making a difference was Joel Donnell, who rushed for 81 yards and three scores on only seven carries.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Franklin is set to take on their familiar foe Tokay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Chavez will challenge rival West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
