Baseball Recap: El Monte Lions vs. Mark Keppel Aztecs
El Monte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-4 to the Mark Keppel Aztecs. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 15-1 to the Aztecs when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Isaiah Standley was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. He also put up two RBI, which were his first of the season. Ricardo Valdez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.
