Football Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

Lafayette lost against West Point back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Commodores were outmatched by the Green Wave and fell 41-6. The contest marked the Commodores' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

John Colt Robertson threw for 38 yards on four of six attempts. On the ground, Luke Anderson rushed for 36 yards.

West Point got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Quentin Thompson out in front who rushed for 100 yards on only ten carries.

This is the second loss in a row for Lafayette and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for West Point, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Lafayette didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 27-14 win against Columbus on the 24th. As for West Point, they have also already played their next matchup, a 51-7 victory against Caledonia on the 24th.
