Volleyball Game Preview: Suncoast Chargers vs. Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks

The Suncoast Chargers will face off against the Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Suncoast is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 17 games.

Suncoast is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Coral Springs.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Suncoast took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-11, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Archbishop McCarthy beat Pompano Beach 3-1 on Tuesday.

The win didn't come easy: Pompano Beach scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 20-25, 25-21, 25-18.

Suncoast's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-1. As for Archbishop McCarthy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-14 record this season.
