Softball Recap: North Scott Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

While North Scott put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Lisbon. The Lancers put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 8-0 win. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by eight runs or more this season.

The victory (which was North Scott's third in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lisbon, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.

North Scott wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-0 victory against Clinton on the 9th. As for Lisbon, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-0 win against Easton Valley on the 9th.
