Basketball Recap: Merkel Takes a Loss

Merkel lost against Clyde back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The matchup between the Merkel Badgers and the Clyde Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Merkel Badgers falling 51-33.

Merkel dropped their record down to 7-16 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Clyde, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Wall the next time they take the court. Merkel will host Wall at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Clyde will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on January 31st.
