Softball Recap: Lansingburgh Takes a Loss

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Lansingburgh was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They came up short against the Schalmont Sabres, falling 15-2. The Knights have struggled against the Sabres recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Lansingburgh saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Patregnani, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Lansingburgh's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Schalmont, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Coming up, Lansingburgh will square off against Schenectady at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Schalmont, they will take on Niskayuna at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
