Baseball Game Preview: Scotia-Glenville Tartans vs. Hudson Falls Tigers

For the second straight game, Scotia-Glenville will face off against Hudson Falls. The Tartans will challenge the Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. The last four games Scotia-Glenville has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Scotia-Glenville gave up the first runs on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Hudson Falls. The victory continues a trend for the Tartans in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

For Hudson Falls' part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zachary Crossman, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Richard Rosick also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The win got Scotia-Glenville back to even at 3-3. As for Hudson Falls, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
