Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Finds Home Court Redemption Against Valley Vista

There's no place like home for Hamilton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Valley Vista Monsoon on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-17.

Ben Tynan was the offensive standout of the contest as he had eight digs and two aces. What's more, he posted five assists, the most he's had over his last six matchups. Robert Batzer also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Tynan wasn't the only good server: Hamilton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. The Huskies are a perfect 3-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Hamilton pushed their record up to 7-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Valley Vista, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Hamilton has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Basha on the 3rd. As for Valley Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Camelback on the 3rd.
