Basketball Game Preview: Calvary Christian Knights vs. Westfield School Hornets

The Calvary Christian Knights will head out to challenge the Westfield School Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Calvary Christian is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Calvary Christian is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against St. Anne-Pacelli on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Calvary Christian was dealt a 50-20 loss at the hands of St. Anne-Pacelli. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Vikings are ranked 84th).

Charleigh Spann was Calvary Christian's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Spann also led the team in assists with two. Anna Norton held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Westfield School was able to grind out a solid victory over Brookstone on Tuesday, taking the game 39-32.

Calvary Christian now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Westfield School, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
