Volleyball Recap: San Rafael Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

San Rafael had won three straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped up to 3-0 to make it four. They came out on top against the El Cerrito Gauchos by a score of 3-1. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Gauchos, too.

Having lost for the first time this season, El Cerrito fell to 2-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

El Cerrito lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sofia Romo, who had eight digs.

San Rafael didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Ukiah on the 30th. As for El Cerrito, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Berkeley on the 2nd.
