Alpha Omega Academy proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 20) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over The Covenant Preparatory School.

O'Connell came out on top against Legacy Christian Academy on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run first inning. The Buccaneers were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Warriors. The win continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

Izzie Bertsch made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk).
