Volleyball Recap: Linden Has No Trouble Against Riverbank + How To Watch

Linden won the last time they faced Riverbank and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions blew past the Bruins 3-0. The Lions not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Linden was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-5.

Katie Schallberger paced Linden's offense, picking up ten kills. Schallberger got some help from Allie Kehoe and her 20 assists. Kehoe also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sydney Billigmeier, racking up two apiece.

Linden is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Riverbank, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Linden is set to take on their familiar foe Bret Harte at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Riverbank will square off against rival Big Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
