Softball Recap: South Windsor Comes Up Short

South Windsor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 15-3 to the Tolland Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

South Windsor saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna LeGare, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

South Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Tolland, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Looking ahead, South Windsor will face off against East Hartford at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Tolland, they will take on East Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Tolland's pitchers better be ready for this one: East Catholic has averaged an impressive 12.6 runs per game this season.
