Baseball Recap: Island Comes Up Short at Home Against Kapa'a

Island unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 24-0 to the Kapa'a Warriors on Saturday. Island hasn't had much luck with Kapa'a recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The win got Kapa'a back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Island will take on Kauai at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kapa'a, they will be playing at home against Waimea at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
