Nevada Union took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Sutter Huskies. For the Miners, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 21-25, 25-17.

Ashley Thompson paced Nevada Union's offense, picking up 11 kills. Thompson got some help from Ashlyn Lampe and her 15 assists. Lucy Pfaffinger controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Nevada Union will host East Nicolaus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sutter, they will take on Willows in a tournament on Saturday.
