Softball Recap: Arrowhead Takes a Loss

Arrowhead fell victim to Slinger and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 12-0 to the Owls. The Warhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Owls apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Arrowhead's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4. As for Slinger, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Arrowhead will head out to face off against Kettle Moraine at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Slinger, they will take on Homestead at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Highlanders' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Owls' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
