Softball Recap: Conrad's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Conrad entered their tilt with Shelby on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Coyotes 17-2. That's two games straight that the Cowboys have won by exactly 15 runs.

Evagelene Denzer spent all four innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on two hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Sierra Dockter was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Emily Thompson was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.

Conrad always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. They are 4-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Conrad's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Shelby, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Shelby will venture away from home to face off against Shepherd at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Conrad will be paying especially close attention to the Coyotes' match: after the Coyotes face off against the Mustangs, they'll take on Conrad again at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
