Volleyball Recap: Stow-Munroe Falls Takes a Loss

Stow-Munroe Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lakewood Rangers.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Stow-Munroe Falls sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-27, 25-20.

Mackenzie Mccullough paced Stow-Munroe Falls' offense, picking up eight kills. Mccullough were helped by Carrie Winkler and Sierra Zelenak, who contributed 16 assists each. Winkler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
