Basketball Recap: Monterey Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Monterey faced off against Calvary Christian on Friday. The Monterey Wildcats took a 54-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Calvary Christian Cougars. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monterey's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Calvary Christian, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Monterey won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Non Varsity Opponent at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Calvary Christian, they and Wolfe County will face off at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
