Volleyball Recap: Trinity Academy Wins Going Away Against Crossroads Christian + How To Watch

Trinity Academy had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Crossroads Christian Colts on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-14.

Crossroads Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sophie Wade, who had 16 digs, and Anderson Boyd, who had six digs and five kills. Wade is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Trinity Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Crossroads Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Academy will square off against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crossroads Christian, they will welcome Lee Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
