Basketball Recap: Hancock County Takes a Loss

Hancock County lost against North Greene back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hancock County Indians fell 58-51 to the North Greene Huskies. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Huskies are ranked 122nd).

Hancock County's loss dropped their record down to 13-16. As for North Greene, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 25-4.

Hancock County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Greene, they will take on Cosby on Thursday. North Greene will be up against Cosby's rather soft defense (which has allowed 61.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
