Basketball Recap: Plain Dealing Takes a Loss

Plain Dealing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Stanley Panthers, falling 61-12.

Plain Dealing's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Stanley, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Plain Dealing won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Doyline at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Stanley, they will head out on the road to challenge Singer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
