League recap: Notre Dame's Haggerty delivers best pitching performance from past week

Southeast Missouri league recap: 3/27/13

Josh Haggerty was the top pitcher in Southeast Missouri this week, leading Notre Dame. Over the past week, he had one win and seven Ks.

The Bulldogs outpaced the rest of the league this week, as their three total wins led the league. Notre Dame beat Cooter 8-0, Valle Catholic 7-1 and Priory 4-3.

The Bulldogs' pitching staff was best in the league in terms of hits allowed, with just nine over the past week. Notre Dame has surrendered a mere 16 hits this season in five games.

The Bulldogs' Haggerty led the league in strikeouts this week with seven. He's third in the league with eight total strikeouts.



Jordan Miller threw a shutout as he led Dexter to victory over the Warriors, 1-0, on Saturday. He struck out five, allowing three hits.
