Soccer Recap: Westwood Christian Falls Short of South Florida HEAT in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Westwood Christian can now relate to. They lost 5-0 to South Florida HEAT on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 207th, while South Florida HEAT are ranked 94th).

Westwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 12-2. As for South Florida HEAT, they pushed their record up to 16-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Westwood Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Florida HEAT, they will venture away from home to take on St. Johns Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on February 26th. St. Johns Country Day will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something South Florida HEAT surely won't give up without a fight.
