Basketball Recap: Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family vs. Westmont Sentinels
On Thursday, Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family's game was all tied up 24-24 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 53-46 win over Westmont. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family.
Elizabeth Beto continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Mary Kruce was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Westmont, they now have a losing record at 13-14.
Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family will play host again and welcome the Eagles, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Willows Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Westmont, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
