Football Recap: Waldron Mohawks vs. Tri-State Crusaders King's Crusaders

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Waldron can now relate to. They were beaten by the Tri-State Crusaders King's Crusaders 34-6 on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 48 points in the game before, the Mohawks couldn't push the score so high this time.

Rylan Kolb was a one-man wrecking crew for Tri-State Crusaders as he rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also picked up 40 receiving yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave Kolb a new career-high in rushing yards. Norman Lengacher got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Waldron's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-1. As for Tri-State Crusaders, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

As of now, neither Waldron nor Tri-State Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
