Basketball Recap: Stuart Takes a Loss

Stuart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 36-29 to the Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades. The Broncos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Renegades earlier this season, when they won 47-42.

Chambers/Wheeler Central had a senior duo take command as Ella Moses went 7 of 11 on her way to 17 points and eight boards and Annabel Waldo posted 12 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. That's the most boards Moses has posted since back in December of 2024.

Stuart's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Stuart will take on Ainsworth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, they will be taking part in a tournament against Santee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Santee is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.1 points per game this season.
