Baseball Recap: Dover-Sherborn Wins Going Away Against Dedham

Dover-Sherborn had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Dedham on Sunday. The Raiders put the hurt on the Marauders with a sharp 16-5 victory. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.

Thomas Wyatt was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Will Forman also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Dover-Sherborn always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Dover-Sherborn is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Dedham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.
