Volleyball Recap: Elcho Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Elcho can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Suring Eagles on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Hannah Schmidt paced Elcho's offense, picking up seven kills. Schmidt got some help from Isabelle Multhauf and her nine assists.

Elcho's loss dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Suring, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 22-7.

Elcho does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Suring, they will welcome Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
