Woodson had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 9-5 to the Roosevelt Roughriders on Monday. The loss means Woodson is still on the hunt for the season's first 'W'.

For Roosevelt's part, Cash Wilson made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). Wilson was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all two of his plate appearances.
