Football Recap: Seton Hall Prep Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Seton Hall Prep came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the Don Bosco Prep Ironmen and fell 40-7. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Ironmen recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Don Bosco Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Colin Brennan led the charge by rushing for 78 yards and one score on only 11 carries. That's the most rushing yards Brennan has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Dante Deluca, who rushed for 78 yards and one TD.

Seton Hall Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Don Bosco Prep, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Seton Hall Prep will face off against Irvington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Don Bosco Prep, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 28-0 victory against Paramus Catholic on the 24th.
