Volleyball Recap: Orr Comes Up Short

Orr was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wells Raiders. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Raiders when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Orr sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-14, 22-25, 25-16.

Orr's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wells, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orr will host Raby at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wells, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Collins at 5:00 p.m. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
