Baseball Recap: Mohawk Comes Up Short

After flying high against Buckeye Central on Thursday, Mohawk came back down to earth. The Warriors lost 7-1 to the Calvert Senecas on Tuesday. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Senecas from their previous meeting back in May of 2017.

Mohawk's defeat dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Calvert, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

Looking ahead, Mohawk will square off against Elmwood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Royals have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Calvert, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cardinal Stritch at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
