Baseball Game Preview: Eastern Lebanon County Raiders vs. Cocalico Eagles

Eastern Lebanon County hasn't had much luck against Cocalico recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Donegal hit Eastern Lebanon County with a four-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Raiders took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians.

Tyce Boyer was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Cocalico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 8-3 to Garden Spot.

Alex Fox made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Jasiah Rios also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Eastern Lebanon County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Cocalico, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Eastern Lebanon County might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Cocalico when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
