Baseball Recap: Ray Comes Up Short

Ray and Pioneer squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Ray had to settle for second. They lost 10-3 to the Diamondbacks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Diamondbacks this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-2 loss on Saturday.

RAUL TREVINO made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

This is the second loss in a row for Ray and nudges their season record down to 21-13. As for Pioneer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-12.

Ray does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pioneer, they will take on Liberty Hill on Saturday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Diamondbacks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
