Basketball Recap: Manley Drops Highest Score of Season Against Lycee Francais De Chicago

With a playoff win on the line, Manley rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with an 82-74 victory over Lycee Francais de Chicago. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bonheur Balita and Jordie Machara certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Balita dropped a double-double with 25 points and 14 boards, while Machara posted 26 points and three steals. That's the most rebounds Balita has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Pfeiffer, who earned nine points.

The win made it two in a row for Manley and bumps their season record up to 16-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points over those games. As for Lycee Francais de Chicago, they moved to 21-7 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
