Basketball Preview: South Barber Chieftains vs. Norwich Eagles
South Barber and the Eagles are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but not for long. The South Barber Chieftains will be playing at home against the Norwich Eagles on Monday. Norwich took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on South Barber, who comes in off a win.
Even though South Barber has not done well against the Trojans recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. South Barber came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 49-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for South Barber.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought game, but Norwich had to settle for a 55-52 loss against the Wildcats on Friday. Norwich has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
South Barber has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4-1 record this season. As for Norwich, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.
