Baseball Game Preview: Portage Indians vs. Lake Central Indians

For the second straight game, Portage will face off against Lake Central. Portage is taking a road trip to take on Lake Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Portage's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four contests, but Wednesday's match will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lake Central hit Portage with a five-run seventh inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. Portage lost 8-2 to Lake Central.

For Lake Central's part, they got a great performance from Josh Flores as he struck out 12 batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Those 12 strikeouts gave Flores a new career-high.
