Chesapeake never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against the Glen Burnie Gophers as they made off with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won eight matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Chesapeake's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Glen Burnie, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
