Basketball Recap: Happy Camp Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Happy Camp won the last time they faced Tulelake and things went their way on Friday too. The Happy Camp Indians slipped by the Tulelake Honkers 51-50. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Happy Camp was led to victory by Byron Roberts and Tyler Hahn. Roberts posted 13 points in addition to seven assists and seven rebounds, while Hahn put up nine points along with eight blocks and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Hahn a new career-high in blocks. Another player making a difference was Joaquin Aubrey, who earned eight points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Happy Camp pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Tulelake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Happy Camp will head out to square off against Big Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Happy Camp is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.2 points per game this season. As for Tulelake, they will square off against Surprise Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
