This Week's Top Player Performances from Across the League

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Brayden Pappas' Big Game Leads Eisenhower over Newton

Starting off the list is Eisenhower's Brayden Pappas, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Pappas rushed for 244 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 65 yards.

Unfortunately for Newton, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Pappas. Back in September of 2024 (the last time Pappas saw the Railroaders), he rushed for 202 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, and also caught one TD.

Reves Made His Presence Known in Salina Central's 62-13 Win

Cooper Reves was instrumental in extending Salina Central's winning streak to three on Friday. Reves did his part (and then some), rushing for 157 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries for the 'W'. Reves is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 157 every time he's taken the field this season.

If history really does repeat itself, Reves might just drop another big game when he faces off against Eisenhower on Friday. Back in September of 2024 (the last time Reves saw the Tigers), he rushed for 162 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.

Another Game with at Least 106 Rushing Yards from Jaxson Green

Jaxson Green's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his third-straight game with 106+ rushing yards. He rushed for 180 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 59 yards.

Arkansas City's probably Not too fond of Green given he always seems to get the better of them. Green rushed for 67 yards and two TDs on only seven carries the last time he and the Bulldogs duked it out back in September of 2024.
