It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Linfield Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Aquinas Falcons, sneaking past 57-55. The win was familiar territory for the Lions who have now won eight games in a row.

Linfield Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Julius Brower, who posted 15 points and five assists. Brower's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Daniel Crawford was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.

Aquinas' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Vincent Warsaw, who went 7 for 16 to rack up 18 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Lj Hall, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 14 points.

Linfield Christian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Aquinas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-16.

Linfield Christian has already played their next matchup, a 56-46 win against Ontario Christian on the 5th. As for Aquinas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-50 victory against Arrowhead Christian on the 5th.
