Big Valley Christian posted their closest win since November 25, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-61 victory over the Riverbank Bruins. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Bruins: they've now won three in a row.

Big Valley Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Titus Boone, who posted 17 points in addition to seven assists and six boards. Boone's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Evan Helm, who put up 20 points and five assists.

Big Valley Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in seven consecutive matches.

Big Valley Christian's record is now 15-9. As for Riverbank, they are on a 24-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-25.

Big Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-59 victory against River Islands on the 19th. Riverbank does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
