Brock Felt Drops League-Best Performance on Friday

Starting off the list is Sierra's Brock Felt, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Felt's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 61 yards.

The defeat snapped Sierra's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-2 record. Felt and Sierra will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Patterson at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

A Season-Best Effort from Royale Tago Leads Patterson over Mountain House

On Friday, Patterson got the W thanks in part to Royale Tago playing the best football he has all season. Tago picked up three sacks and made six total tackles.

Patterson now has a winning record of 4-3. Tago and Patterson will head out to square off against Oakdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Burford Made His Presence Known in Oakdale's 42-24 Win

Wes Burford was instrumental in extending Oakdale's winning streak to five on Friday. Burford did his part (and then some), rushing for 160 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 143 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Unfortunately for East Union, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Burford. Burford rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries the last time he and the Lancers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Kaden Ransohoff Turns in Season-Best Effort

Mountain House came up short on Friday despite Kaden Ransohoff delivering his best game to date. Ransohoff picked up 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 74 yards.

Mountain House is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Ransohoff and Mountain House will square off against Manteca at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Oakdale Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Gavin Wyatt

Gavin Wyatt's big game helped extend Oakdale's winning streak to five on Friday. Wyatt did his part (and then some), rushing for 65 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, while also picking up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.

For the season, Wyatt has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 20.8 receiving yards per game.
