Basketball Game Preview: Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots vs. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights

The Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots will head out to take on the Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Meanwhile, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton strolled past Mountain Lake/Comfrey with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 71-53. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with Mountain Lake/Comfrey: they've now won three in a row.

Hills-Beaver Creek's loss dropped their record down to 19-3. As for Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-3.

Hills-Beaver Creek was able to grind out a solid victory over Russell-Tyler-Ruthton in their previous meeting back in January, winning 62-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hills-Beaver Creek since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
